Design, permitting and construction of a new Transit Police Facility and Operations Building at King County's Atlantic Central Base
Project Responsibilities
- Found alternative easement location acceptable to Seattle City Light (SCL) and King County Transit
- Obtained an agreement with SCL to relocate power lines
- Resolved street vacation condition deadline
- Analyzed existing restrictions and entitlements of parcel and provided options to proceed forward
Project Results
- Successfully negotiated an alternate easement which had been stymied for 4 years
- Negotiated a service letter with SCL to limit scope of work and King County Transit's costs on relocating power lines
- Obtained three year extension of time to comply with street vacation conditions due to four year delay in project at minimal cost to King County Transit
- Provided options and recommendation regarding existing Master Use Permit
